Problem Faced by Master Paints, A Research Outline

INTRODUCTION 1.1 Rationale of the study: The rationale of the study is to conduct a research and to analyze the current problem faced by the company which is low brand awareness in the customers. Company is trying to provide quality products despite that customer are proffering other brands. The objective is to provide best possible solutions for the company so that it can overcome its difficulty of low brand awareness. 1.2 Research Objectives: †¢ To analyze the effect of price on low brand awareness of the company. †¢ To examine the factors causing consumers to purchase other brands †¢ How competition is affecting the decision making process of the customers. 1.3 Problem Identification: In- depth Interview was conducted for the sake of problem identification at the of head office of Master Paints Private Limited. After interviewing CFO (chief finance officer) Mister Kashif of the company, the observed problem is that the company is facing low brand awareness among the customers which is causing the customers to purchase the alternative product. The research is to analyze what factors are causing low brand awareness, are the prices reasonable, what factors influence the buyer’s decision to purchase the alternative product and how competition is causing low brand awareness for the company.
